Tin boxes redecorated

Hari had been going crazy about our bathroom lately. You know, it's totally functional but not a place to show off. It's a BATHROOM! But anyways, if any of you know Hari, he gets going and you can't stop him. So, he re-did it. He took out our wire rack that our daughter left us to put all of our "stuff" on it. He touched up the edges of the paint. He cleaned out our drawers, well he piled it all up in the middle of the floor and told me to get rid of what I don't need. HELLO!! I need all of it!! I'm a mom of course we need all of that stuff! Muscles get sore, mosquito bites get gotten, oil needs to get on my cuticles at least once a year... come on! So I decided that we need boxes for organization. He agreed...I can't believe it cause this was all his idea and he actually let me have an input.
So we went to Marshall's, and other places, but we found something at Marshall's.

Check these out! Two dollars each, TIN BOXES!! The smaller one is the size of a regular shoe box. This was a find...for us. We never find bargains when we want to. Well sometimes we do....

Okay, so the whole point of the story is that I get to redecorate these to match our bathroom.
I'll be posting pic's of how they turned out so stay tuned.....
yeah, i'm a goof ball but who's reading? Oh last but not least...I'M - GOING - TO - SEE - MY- GRANDBABY- TODAY- ON- THE- TV!! (singing was happening when i typed this)

A Gift for Teresa

Hi everyone, just doing a little Stampin' Up! work...

So here is the sneek peek Teresa! For my friend...

This is something that I was thinking that you could write notes or save little pics or momentos for your kids. You could actually do whatever you want with it; but when I was making this, I was imagining you, being the good mom that you are, keeping a little something like this for them to go through when they get older. I don't know, i'm too much of a dreamer....

This card under is one of the cards that we are going to do at Pat's workshop. I used punches and the last of the pacific blue card stock. The main attraction here is going to be the stamp-a-ma-jig. Practice makes perfect right?

This pic shows a little better of how we're using white texture on white card stock.

This is the beginning stage Jean! I'm so not done yet....

thank you again.

KUDOS, BRAVO, CONGRATS!!

Hello out there in blogville!! I decided to actually get out of my nice clean bed (sheets are washed on Fridays) and come out to post a few things.

These are some graduation cards that I've made. Very simple (do i always say that?) and very necessary. If there is ever a time to celebrate, it is great when it's about education.

Here is another one that we did at Martha's workshop. The white lines were inspired by a ziplock baggie.

So you can see with your own eyes these next little numbers...watercoloring,
stitching, eyelet border,

and my son Alex. He is in the marching band and having a wonderful time doing it. I'm very proud of him....all A's and one B for his final grades this year!!!WOOOOOO-HOOOOO!!!!!!
