My First Tutorial!!!

So hello everyone. I just wanted to welcome you to my first tutorial. This is a step by step process. I hope it is as fun and easy for you as it was for me. ENJOY!!

A Pixie Dresser...

1. Empty out 6 boxes of matches. Take them apart and paint outside with ink. Click pic to enlarge image...I chose not to cover entire area of boxes.

2. I used a paper piercing tool from Stampin' Up! to make way for the gold brad which will be the dresser knobs.

3. Insert brads and line drawers.

4. Glue the outside of the matchboxes together. I used a simple glue stick to give myself a little "push and pull" time to get the boxes evened out.

5. Now glue sides together with glue stick. Hold together for about a minute or so just so it wont fall apart in your hands when you start putting the paper around it.

6. Insert drawers.

7. Smile and relax...it's coming together now...

8. This is the measurement for the paper that covers the back of the dresser.

9. This is the measurement for the paper that covers all the way around; bottom, sides, and top.

10. Wrap back first. Make sure that your paper is nice and tight.

11. For the sides, I make small creases on each corner.

12. Here they are. Smile, you're almost done...

13. Now push down on the creases, making them nice and tight.

14. Apply adhesive on ends of paper.

15. Wrap around.16. Ink up ends.

17. I used half pearls for the feet on the bottom of dresser.

Almost.............Just decorate to taste and voila!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

A Dresser Set for a Pixie

So I don't know what to call this. It is a dresser set but it's the size of a pixie. You know, like for Tinker Bell...
But anyhow, these are made from match boxes. Simply paint, add brads, glue together, wrap paper around, ink up to your liking, decorate, and add feet. In this case, I used pearls as feet. Enjoy...

Did you see this one?

I am trying to clear out my pic's and I'm just about done. I am too lazy to see if you've seen this one though. It's a mailable photo album. Just slip your pic's in the clear envelopes and voila! I've got a few more of these to show you. We are just looking for the camera....I'll be back....
