Beary Sewn

What a silly title but i'm not good at naming my cards yet. Some people have the perfect names and my mind just goes blank.
Anyways, here are a couple of pieces that I have where I am practicing my water crayon coloring. I sure do like this technique of coloring but I really need lots of practice.

On this card, I didn't put any extra glitz. Just the sewing and layers of scrap paper.

This is almost as simple as the last one but I had to add ribbon. It just needed a little touch...

And these last two, you might have seen them already but I'm not too sure. So here they are again...maybe...

Orange Sky and Joseph's Wish

Hello. I thought I could start by showing you this Orange sky. I used 3 different colors and applied the ink with a sponge. This is actually very simple, just a little practice and you'll be thumping that ink on everything! It didn't seem to need any embelleshments so I kept it simple. This doesn't always happen so sometimes it's a nice change....

I thought I said a couple of days ago that i'd be posting baby cards...well i had to get these out to you all. Starting tomorrow, I am going to be taking pic's of all of the Baby cards that I have been making.

This is a card that i am making for my brother in law, Joseph. I hope he likes it. He broke his elbow and just had surgery on Wednesday. I'm sorry Mary for not calling yet. I am praying for him though...
So thank you all for looking and i hope you all have a beary nice weekend! 8X!

The Lord is my Shepherd

So here it is mija, the stamp that you gave me...do you like? This is vellum laid over the water scene with
Psalm 23 stamped in staz-on ink.

Wow! That convo was short!! That doesn't normally happen...anyways, I made this for Lonnie at church. He just had knee surgery and he is stuck in the hospital...bored. But we could praise God that he is recovering well....

And this is for Mercedes. Her birthday is on the 10th so I made this little number up for her. It's an altered domino. It's hard to see but I used SU crystal effects after all the stamping was done. I applied it directly from the bottle to the domino. When I do this, I allow it to dry overnight. It takes a long time but it is really worth it....

Here are more...

So I hope you've enjoyed the pic's and come back again now, ya' hear!

Girl in blue, fuzzy can, and Thank You Verena

I know that I've been a slacker with my blog but if you ONLY KNEW!! I wouldn't say that my life is hard at all, it's just that if I didn't have to sleep or work or take showers and use the restroom, I'd be able to sit still and play with all of my stuff! I never want to stay up all night trying to finish a project. You know that crazy staying up all night feeling. It hurts my face and I've done that already too much in my party days....It's way over-rated. I like sleep...ahhh!

Okay, so the pic's that you've been seeing are the mini magazine holders that we did for Mary's Stampin' 10 workshop last month. I did add the ribbon after the party...I didn't mean to hold back from the girls, it's just that sometimes, I can't stop...

And this is my fuzzy can. If you look closely you could see the beads and stuff...

And this little number is something that I made for Verena. She is such a good person and I don't get to thank her enough for being there when we need her. So I finally did...
The words inside included "...for owl you do..."

Well thanks for looking and I hope it was worth the wait. Next time I will be posting a baby card. I'll be doing that quite a bit now cause I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!!!! Thank you Jacqueline and Curtis!!XXXXX
