Some of my latest...cans and calendars

I'm sure we've all done this one before...at least KNEW that we should. Who could throw these perfectly sized cans away? They have tight lids and are wonderful to hide just enough stuff without being a "junk can." At least I think so.... So I just added some paper around and tied some ribbon and there you go. I gave this one to my daughter who just got into her new apartment last week. This is her first time on her own and I am so proud of her. Needless to say, this is not all I'll be making for her.
She'll get tired of me soon, but isn't that what a mom is for?
Now this Hollywood Girl is only practice. I plan on sizing the card better and putting a circle in place of a square so it'll look like a spotlight on her. Hopefully my idea pans out and hopefully i'll get to it this year...I have soooo many ideas and plans, it's too much ambition for one person to handle.
This next one is a copy cat of something I seen somewhere. I think it is on splitcoastampers.com . I'm not positive but I do know that it's a copy and I took it and ran! LOVE THESE BABIES!! Go to redcastle.com to print out the little calendars.
Here are more calendars but these you could hang in your cubicle at work with a pin. Very light weight and SO CUTE!!
I hope these are enough to hold you over for awhile....I hope to be back soon....thanks for looking....;)

Dad's Day Dominoes

Hello. This is something that I've seen and never had the nerve to do, until now. Don't ask me why but, you know when you see something and it's just beautiful and it could be a little intimidating? Well that's a little bit of my explanation. I don't know why cause this was COMPLETELY easy to do. Just get a big stamp, use staz-on to stamp, put on a little ink to color the image to your liking, spray with a sealer, let set and repeat 2 more times with sealer. Hot glue together then hot glue ribbon around it and VOILA!!! I am getting ready to do small ornaments. Oh and by the way, try embossing. I will....
Now this is the set I'm sending to my dad. I know it's going to be a little late but he'll still love me.
I'm not sure how to show you the beauty of these little stallions but after I did all of the above (in a little different order of course and with a little gold leafing around the ends), I used crystal effects from SU. Even though this stuff takes a whole day to dry ( I squeezed it directly on the dominoes), the effect is outstanding!
Thanks again for looking.
