These images are from Amelia Bedelia books and shows a little of the mess that Amelia can get herself into.  However, when she comes to realize that she didn't make her boss Mrs. Rogers happy, Amelia politely reminds her that she did exactly what Mrs. Rogers told Amelia to do.
The stories get funnier and funnier as she happily does her tasks, when she cleans the house or tries to get a new job.  Amelia Bedelia's character is absolutely lovely and eager to please her boss.

This book is not just for children but adults will love these books as well.

This is a must read for children of all ages, just for fun of the English language.
Originally written by Peggy Parrish. Nephew Herman Parrish continued the adventures of Amelia after Peggy's passing 1988.

Merry Christmas, my tree topper for 2010

Above is my tree topper for this year. I struggled so much with it but in the end, we're happy with it. I havn't had a star in so long. It's been a bow at the top for so long now that I am getting bored with it. You might not feel the same way, and I don't blame you. However, I had to move on from it.
Now below is my paper tree that I wanted to try out. I think I seen this in a Martha Stewart mag and it looked really pretty in there, but I have to remember that they have special studios with special lighting and professional photographers with professional cameras. That is not the case in this photo below.
Now here is something that I did as an accident. We all know how that is, anything goes and no worries. I like those projects best. The ribbon I used was from the past couple of years so it was almost pointless to keep it cause it was sooooo wrinkled, but I couldn't get rid of it that easy. So what I did was get a 3.99 green wreath from Michael's and twisted the greenery around the wrinkled ribbon, bending and shaping as I went along and VOILA! I was so excited that I put this up before my tree.
